Yes, the MSF course is required for the military to ride, but it doesn't give you the experience or knowledge to hop on a sport bike and go out carving the corners. I have a lot of friends out here that are getting sport bikes when we get back. The thing that worries me is that only one has ever had a bike before. I don't want have any of my buddies that made it through this deployment only to get themselves killed trying to be a hero on a bike they have no control over. I agree, the superbike school being a requirement is a good idea. I wish they had that at Ft. Gordon, because we lose a lot of guys on them every year.
