Super Bike school rocked!!
I lucked out big when it came time to sign up and register to attend this school, if u look at there rates they are up there but I tell u I lucked out, the military paid fully for a group of us to go and attend there tour here in Nc. I tell ya these guys know what there doing and have all the right gear to teach it. I learned so much that I was amazed of all the things we do that we are not suppose too and all the things we are suppose to do that we dont, if u are lucky and can catch there touring cycles it is well worth the money, I had a blast andI would do it all over again oh heres the link to there website http://www.superbikeschool.com/

Congrats on the learning curve. Sounds like a blast. I still get their emails on when and where they are going. I still want to try the 2 day camp! I need to hone my skills and get rid of some bad habits. lol

I'd agree with the track day thing. I did a track day a couple years ago and was glad I did. Mind you, I'm no Scott Russell and don't have the nerve (or the money) to do that sort of thing on a regular basis, but did learn a great deal. I recommend a track day for everyone, just totighten up the skills which make us better riders.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I prefer riding on the street than on the track. There's something about a half dozen guys easily within arms reach of my bike, blasting toward a curve at triple digit speed, which I find a bit unnerving. I have a friend (who's an excellent track rider; currently points leader in the over 40 class) who is exactly the opposite; loves the track, but hates the street.
The track is a great classroom. Prepare to think and ride faster than you thought possible.

well there really wasnt just one thing what we did right or wrong, each person had their own bad habits. I was guilty of not relaxing and letting the bike do what she wanted to do on the turns and other peeps tend to do the same as well, alot of us use the rear brake quite a bit more than we have too, when we can actually come to a complete stop just by using the front brakes. The way they do it is look at how u ride and than show u what to do.

+1 on the military spending the cash. Haven't been to a track day but reaally want to. I'd rather be banging elbows on the dirt then the asphalt track myself. Sounds scary at that speed.
