Yeah, part time - just Thursday nights this semester ('cept this week I'm outta town). On the weekends, we usually ride Angeles crest (the back side through Tujunga) and come out in Acton, then come back through a few other local canyons. I'll give you a call when I get back in town (unfortunately after the weekend).

hey every body, I want to get a ninja 500 but dont know what the diffrence is between the 500ex or the 500r. Does any one know the diffrences of the two? I am most intersted in gas milage and gasoline capacity, then speed and styling last.[:-]

Not much difference between the two at all - there's basically two generations: the EX500 being all made in or before 1993, the 500R made in or after 1994. The 500R has a 17" wheels, disc brake in the rear, there are some wiring changes and cosmetic changes too. Fuel capacity is the same on both.

Mine is a 1994, it does not say 500R anywhere on it, just 500. You will love the 500, great bike, I'm very, very, very happy with mine!!!
