specs on my bike

RE: specs on my bike
Heck yes..... The Zx11 replaced my bike, the ZX10... the zx11 came out with 8 more HP stock... Your bike is 147 at the crank, and 130 hp at the rear wheel... With 81 ft lbs of torque, stock.. In it's day, it was the fastest production bike out. And it stilll outuns most bikes on the road. An exhaust, intake, deck the head, sprockets, filter.. you should punch around 165-170 hp from her. The next year, Suzuki came out with the 1100 of their own with 155 hp, but it still couldn't outrun the zx11.
Top speed on the C model Kawis, yours is a C-3, is 175 mph tucked, and 163 up right GPS'd stock. your speedometer will be off right at 10% consistently thru the range.
But at 580 lbs factory weight, it will slow ya down a bit. You can shave about 100 lbs of her pretty easy, and make that rear tire a smoke bomb.
Out of the box, she'll hit 10.38 secs in the 1/4 at 136 mph or so... Shave some weight and do some mods, you can make her in the 9's... 9's is hard to hit in my elevation, but I can do it occasionaly.
Definatley get rid of all that KLEEN, can't remeber what it stands for, but it's the smog crap... Lose that, you'll lose right at 12 lbs, and gain some upper throttle response. Don't foget that huge canister behind your right leg in the fairing. That thing is around 3.5 lbs by itself.
My bike is pushing 159 at the rear wheel now. My buddy's ZX11 is 20 more than that..... Awesome bike. A lot of new rider's don't give it the respect it desrves until you blow them off the line with it!! lol.... Anything you need to know man, let me know....
