Some Fellow Rider thoughts and opinions wanted
ok, to start off, here is the bike in question: My 1992 KZ1000P
Ideas:
1- Keep it without the front fairing and keep it fairly close to a Standard KZ in appearances.
2-Keep the crash bars, the rear hard bags, convert a set of Vaquero fairings to fit the front for wind protection. (which was what I was thinking about doing), maybe add the top loading bags from a Voyager to be not as "boxey" as are the original police hard bags. Was thinking about keeping the large solo seat and add a Voyager Top Box to it, or keep with the sportier Vaguero dual seat. Not sure on that either.
The main goal is to do long distance road trips, stay comfy, provide sufficient KZ power over the Vulcan V-Twin, and of course make a package that is visually appealing. (Riding solo I think with the wife riding her own ride maybe.....?????)
Any opinions would be appreciated.
edit: and I suck at photoshop, so no visual concepts
