RE: Riding in shorts only with armor?
i ride in shorts and a t shirt all the time. prolly bad idea for safety concern but it feels great and relaxing!! even after my spill i still ride in shorts. personal preferance but if your worried about skin loss n safety then yeah use jeans or riding suit pants

I agree it's a bad idea, but yes I have done it and took the chance. Not a wise decision, but no spills. I try to stay in jeans, but it gets pretty hot at times. I would try to get a perforated jacket with guards and at a minimum, jeans. IMO I do ok with my perforated Intake jacket, I just remove the inner lining and sometimes try to "bow" my arms so the air catches me and I get cooler. I also sometimes leave the jacket unzipped about 1/2 way but not all the way. It's just always best to be as covered as possible ............just in case............you know how crazy people are on the roads these days......COME ON SPRING!!!

lol....shorts. ha ha ha ....man, where's NS at? He'd have a field day with this one.
dude. no shorts. Don't be a squid. If you are riding. and fall. Lets say on a bridge with those metal grates, would you rather slide across the grates in Shorts, lol, or kevlar reinforced pants?
ATGATT man.
In the summer. my Joe Rocket perf leather is not that bad to ride in.
