Default Riders Test

so i have been hearing alot of people talk about how difficult it was to take it on a sport bike....and then they go and take it on a road bike or cruiser and complete it with ease....i mean i can make the tight turns and stop and swerve so what makes it so difficult....everyone says that it is the low speeds and balance but you have to be going in between 12 & 20 mph to perform the test that is not too slow....any ideas?

It's the physical size and weight of the bike that counts most. When I took the test, everybody else wastaking the test with a cruiser except me. It was quite obvious that I was better off withmy 250R than the other guys on their cruisers.

As long as you have good balance, andare ablework the clutch and throttle well, you'll do ok.

hmm, you can do it if you are comfy on your ride. I took mine on a zx7, not perfect, but made the grade.

Just ride your own bike. You already know how it handles and operates.

....and quit thinking about it so much. You're just making yourself nervous![8D]

You did the DMV circle on a ZX7?! Wow I don't think I could do that right now. I did it on my 250 with tons of practice.

well i am pretty relaxed i have been cruising around town on it for about a month now and the big piles of snow at the dmv have just melted and they are gonna start testing.....i mean i can turn my bike around without putting my foot down on a regular street so there probably isnt any difference for the dmv circle
