Just an update. I found a 3.9% fixed rate credit card. So much better than Kawi's 22% credit card!
I'll pay cash for my next bike!!!

Years ago I financed a bike through a dealer and got some crazy high rate like that. I paid the bike off in about nine months, but I still probably paid $500+ in interest. I now use my credit union rather than dealerships (bike or car), my credit union gave me 5.69% last week on the '06 KLX250S I just bought.

As far as paying cash, I still prefer to finance. I know the money we have in savings isn't really making much interest right now, but if I pay cash I'll be less likely to put that money back into savings. If I finance, I'll try to get it paid off as fast as I can.
