Default Please Help Me Identify My Bike :s

Hello Everyone,
Im new to this forum, and i have yet to explore it. And Im new new riding, its my 3rd day :S but i pretty much got the hang of it...

I've been into bikes for some time now, and i know my bikes so to speak. but here in Lebanon, Kawasaki's are not very popular, especially the older model ones, like the one i own.

Last Saturday i Purchased my first ever bike, the Kawasaki ZX250R (I think) 1989. its cheap, and runs great, and its a very user friendly learners bike. i have plans on restoring the bike back to mint condition, but that will happend after the learning process is over.

the problem im facing is that i cant seem to find specifications and information and aftermarket parts for my bike since Kawasaki''s have a bagillion names. i dont know if its a GPX, EX250, ZXR 250, ZZR 250, ninja, bla bla...Google lost me on this one

Here is a pic of my bike, hope its enuf, and srry bout the quality, phone camera

Please Help Me Identify My Bike :s-dsc00206.jpg

ill post more pix in my album...
Peace N Love, and Thanks In Advance

Congrats!

That would be a 250R also known as a EX250 F Series.

1989 was the third gen 250 and should be a 6speed. 36hp is what it's rated at I believe.

www.motorbikes.be is the best site I've found for specifications and a picture on nearly every motorcycle ever made. If you are trying to figure out what you've got, especially since it's probably not a US model 250 go there and see what you can reference it too.
