oil......
i bought fully synthetic oil, anywho, i've heard some people bringing synthetic, fully syn, etc. up and was wonder what teh big deal is. my bike has like 2400 miles on it, does this make and difference at all? also are k and n filters as good as they say? i'm about to buy one aswell as a jet kit off of them.

RE: oil......
i assume you mean the k&n ait filter. some say its better, some say its only as good as stock. others say to get the bmc(made by k&n). i've got a k&n with no problems. I assume you got the mobil1 synthedic 1-/40 or 20/50. if you goto www.mobil1.com you can read all the info about it. Basically it protects longer without breaking down, smoother shifts blablabla. If the bike needed it then it would have it from the factor. its more of a piece of mind thing.

RE: oil......
I saw that the 20-50 is called Mobil 1 V-Twin. Is there any particular reasson why the thicker (20-50) would be harmfull to a in-line-4? In my owner's manual it says that if you are ridding in temps above 100 you should use 20-50 ... but this is called "V-Twin" ...

RE: oil......
its for marketing. someone with a vtwin goes in a see a bottle of oil that is for THEIR bike, air cooled ect and visa versa with the inline 4's. You can run either weight and be fine. there aren't any different additives in the 10/40 vs. the 20/50
