Default Ninja down!

It happened...

The Ninja went down on Sunday, around 7:00pm. Only, it wasn't even me riding it! I had let a friend use it to help her get some practice because she is new at riding. This is also the first time I have ever let anybody ride my bike.[:'(]Irode myKZ, and had her ride behind me on the Ninja so I could keep my eye on her in my mirrors. We wereriding down this empty stretch ofresidential streetdoing about 25-30mph, when she suddenly (for no reason at all)hit the front brake really hard, and locked it up. She, and my bike instantly went down on the left side, and ate some asphalt.[] I felt bad that she wasn't even wearing a jacket either since we had only planned on really slow and easy riding. (I should have known better.[>:])

My friend suffered from a bit of road rash on her left arm, side, and knee. The bike got messed up, but not too bad. The upper fairing will need to be replaced, as well as other various items. I have some pics which I'll post up later on tonight once I get home.

Oh no mark That sux looks like a fair bit of damage too damn it. It will happen to us all, and can happen at any time, you should have made her wear a jacket, no matter how far/fast you were going. Specially since she is new to the whole "Bike" thing. Anyways, let us know how the repairs go mate

I know I should have MADE her wear a jacket before we went riding. It was a very bad lapse in my judgement to say the least. Hard lesson learned on my part, and even a harder lesson for her.[:@]
