So I searched the forums a little for this but I could find anything...

I need to purchase a new front cowl for my 2003 Ninja 500R. I know I can get it from the dealer but I was curious if there's anywhere else I could get one for a better price... Any suggestions? I've seen some plain white ones but I wouldn't know how to paint it, seems like more trouble than it'd be worth. Thanks for the help!

Now my only questions is if I get an unpainted cowl, I can sand it, but where would I get it painted to match the rest of my bike? I don't even have a clue of what kind of places do something like that...

 

Hmmm, I don't know about that. I'm sure there are body shops around where you live that could paint it.

If you do get it, you've better post some pics of it!

^ Exactly. Any paint shop should be able to match the paint and paint it no prob.

 

also check ebay, I've seen a few of them on there, and you may get lucky and find one the same color already!
