Now that's funny. Wish I could've see the idiot's face! I saw 2 guys Sat that had no business riding. 1 on a Ducati 898, and he couldn't touch the ground. The other on a R6 afraid to pick his feet up.

If he's a former serious dirt biker, he should be fine on anything....he already knows how to slide around. If it's been quite some time since he's ridden, maybe an older $2k bike with some torque he can beat up a little and sell for $2k when done with it..... and then get a new sweet ride. jmho

He has some dirt experience. He's pretty much decided on the ZZR 600. He's just working out the $$ details now. I appreciate all of the responses.

He was telling me about a "friend" of his last night that I never want to meet. Has had a gixxer 600 for 1 month. Has been acting the fool the whole time. Laid it down twice in the first week. (Only experience on street bike) Now wants to sell it and get a Busa! I told him I hope this guy is not a close friend because He will be dead soon. Oh, sorry, I forget to mention he's a TOTAL squid!

Still no bike for my friend. He picked his bike, but needs a co-signer for the loan. (20 yrs old with no credit) His parents won't help him. I'm not sure what to tell him at this point. He wants the bike so bad.

Perhaps his parents are right

If it flies, floats, F's, or is on two wheels....do not do payments, pay cash or rent it.

Tell him to buy a bike he can pay cash for.....smart move really...Has he started investing some of his money on a monthly basis....20 years from now that cash will be worth a lot more. Just sayin.

Found One!!!!!

STREET LEGAL TWO SMOKE.....great way to get back into biking and no problems selling it for that price....but why

Sheet I may buy it and no I'm not trading my klx for it .....link http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=354230

I have a Florida tagged/titled 1998 KDX220R that I think is worth about $1,800 (due to its tag/title).
It has very low hours and still has the original chain & tires.
Reworked forks for 200+lb rider, FMF woods pipe, tall seat, bark busters (not pictured) & CR high Aluminum Bars.
