So a month ago I was riding my bike (04 ZX10r) and I got gas and out of now where when I turn the throttle the bike would bog then throttle would break up. More like shuddering. Well I was told I needed plugs so I swapped them and it was fixed. I rode on the new plugs all on June. Well I got gas and the same thing happen to me yesterday again. So I bought new plugs and installed them today. Put the bike back together and its still doing the same thing. Im stumped right now and dont know what to do.

What do the plugs look like when you take them out?

 

they are New just ran for the first time. I just drained all the gas out and replaced it with new and its still breaking up. Im guessing its the coils or injectors. Now its back firing.

 

I'm assuming you used premium fuel and didnt use the same station when you replaced it. Possibly the O2 sensor didnt like the bad gas, it which case it should get better with a little fuel injector cleaner and running good gas through it. If it doesnt get better my next guess would be the mixture too rich.

No O2 sensor in the 10r in the states unless you have the wide band commander installed. There a lot of possible troubleshooting tips in the periodic maintenance pg's in your manual. I will look through them later before I lose all of the new posts in KF. BBL
