Default Need help with my dead battery =(

I havent ridden my bike in a while and needless to say the battery died. I wanted to try and jump start it, but I have no idea how to take off the drivers seat. Can someone please help me with this. I have a 2006 ninja ZX 6R, and as for my capabilities. I have never made any repairs to the bike myself . So please make it as simple as possible.

wacky, welcome to the forums.
How long is "a while?" You may want to address the fuel system, too, before you go pulling bad gas into the cylinders.
We'll get to "jump starting" procedures after a few more details...

Check the battery voltage after the run. Determine if the battery is the culprit or the charging system.

edit: Your manual discusses that in full detail. good luck
