Either one looks pretty good. both sound like good deals as well. curious to know if they have been dropped or not?

I like the look of the 98 myself.

Remeber, when you test drive, let go of the grips and sit up and make sure the bike goes straight. If not, then could be bent frame, etc...

See how much aftermarket work has been done to it. Full exaust, or just slip on, etc.... If full exhaust, does it have hi flow, and if so, is it re jetted, and who rejetted, etc....

Are the tires worn all the way accross, does this person drive the hell out of it, and has it at full lean all the time?

When you are looking at the plastics, look at the back side of them for cracks or repairs, etc....

Look at the brake rotors. Are they discolored, heat spotted?

Just common sense stuff to check out. Let us know what happens!!! Gl man.

the yellow looks like it had the plastics replaced. good deal on them if they are in good condition. ofcourse I thought that the oem plastics came with the decal kit but maybe not
