hey NS. get your setup. Takes a couple of times normally to get er right. Congrats in your thinking.

A ride that cannot be used fully is a ride that you cannot ride fast no matter the hp.

ORIGINAL: srobak

Getting a membership at the local gym is probably a bit cheaper
[sm=funnypostabove.gif] but there are ways to achieve the desired results.......and those other ways 'normally' don't cost anything!!! [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Good to see you're getting a pretty good deal on the parts and work NS!

It is pretty amazing what dialing in your suspension can do. I put cartidge emulators and racetech springs on my 500r. It went for super mushy front end that would dive if you so much as looked at the break lever to a much more composed bike. The only downer is that the damping isn't externally adjustable. I have to pull the springs and emulators to do so. I really want to put another click or two on the emulators to stiffen up the forks a bit more, but I haven't had the time to tear down the forks again. Next up is the rear shock. I'm either going to replace it with a works shock or see if maybe I can adjust the preload enough to make it a bit stiffer. Althogh a stiffer shock is nothing without a good rebound/damping adjustment.
