My next mod.
My street bike has engine, gearing and cosmetic mods but I am still running on the factory suspension that I can not fully set the static sag, I am to fat.
So I am planning on taking her to Race Tech and have them rebuild the forks, rear shock, with new springs and the gold valve install. Basically is same as going out and buying new Ohlin's or Penske stuff but at ½ the cost.
I did this to my ZX-7 when I got her because it was set up for a 165 lb rider. Cost will be about $950.00. link is a list of the parts.

Dialing in the suspension for your weight should make a big difference. When you did it on your ZX-7, how did it feel afterwards?

Getting a membership at the local gym is probably a bit cheaper

R1 suspension come set up for an average of 170 lb rider and I am adjusted all the out and can still not get the sag set.
I will never weigh 170 again so the gym is not the option except for conditioning and some toning.

Sweet, NS. That's not a bad price. For them doing the work also.

Is that the cost for the shock and forks shipped to them? Or on the ride?
The price does not sound bad. If you brought your ride into them, may as well set it up also.

Like I said, its same as buying new ohlins, I am getting the same thing for 1/2 the price.
BR: and there in corona a city only 15 mins away from me. Last time I was there for the zx7 there was a gang of cool as race bikes there, street and dirt.
