My KZ750 is alive!
My KZ750 is a love, hate relationship. I know she's old, but I still love her no matter how much s**t she puts me through. I bought her back in april, and she was very sick. So I brought her back to health one bolt at a time. I rebuilt the carbs, cleaned up everything on her, put a new battery in for her, and so on. She was also illegal too. she didn't have her proper papers when she came across the Nebraska state line. So I had to battle it out with the DMV for custody over her, and I won! So now it's time to really bring her back to tip-top shape. I replaced the cylinder 2 exhaust donut down by the H-pipe, replaced the clutch cable, tore off the valve cover, checked the valves which were fine, I also just got done synchronizing the carbs on her. Everything is really starting to look up for this beautiful beast! I can't believe how much smoother the engine is running now just from replacing that one gasket. It also solved my erratic idling problem I've been having. About the only thing I need to do now is replace the kickstand since the old one is bent, and replace the fork tube seals. I'm not sure that I want to do the seals myself. They look like a real pain in the ***! After that, she'll be all done!

RE: My KZ750 is alive!
Hell, this would be a great time to do it. Last night I pulled off my forks to rebuild them. I'll just hack the frame apart while I'm at it!
Then I can dress like I'm in a biker gang. YAY!!! JK[8D]
