my fix...
wow.. toooooo long seems the time between saddle warmings. between gripping a handful of rubber grip and spinning. between hearing the growl of 4 pissed off cylinder and an intake bark that sounds equally ominous. between putting half the body off the side of the machine and expelling yourself out of a corner at speeds that give gereiatrics coronary events and make little kids wet themselves.
too long has it been to where i could think clearly and more relaxed. nothing but the tornado-esque sound of wind cramming itself into the crevases in my flashy AGV. a gilpse of a cutie in a cavalier. hot soccer moms. joe blow on lunch from his 9-5. complete freedom. utter enlightenment and sheer satisfaction that stems from feelings that cannot be replicated or bought, well, unless you've purchased yourself another motorcycle...
be it that only a few months have passed since i last heard the growl of 750 CCs and the whirling and clatter that produces 123 HP to propel me in to my ecstatic state of the moment. i know it is still fleeting at this time of year, however, like a drug... i got my fix. and, for a normally mopey and miserable white boy, you couldn't beat this smile off my face with a shovel.
