I have my mp3 player on most of the time when I ride now. Keeps me relaxed when I come across idiots on the road.

I live in Ft. Myers and I wear these when I ride, http://earplugstore.stores.yahoo.net/chmisearph.html with my iPod or a Walkman. I sometimes ride with 2 deputys and they say nothing about being illegal.

I've been using the earphones for a couple of years now with no problems. Granted you shouldn't be jamming real loud. Shouldn't do that in your car either. But with my earphones I can still hear what's going on around me. It's like driving your car with the windows up and the tunes going.
florida statute

Granted your cop buddies dont care but becareful it is agiasnt the law. Most cops dont care but there are some **** hole cops.
This is good to know, thanks. Wasn't sure about the law here in Florida on that. My Joe Rocket jacket has a built in compartment to hold an mp3 player too.
