Oh yes I agree, that's why I got liability on mine from the start. Its good insurance too. 25,000/50,000/300,000 and all for $80.00 a year, that's for both bikes. Geico
Nice! I'll be paying $396 a year for 50/100/50, and 50/100 uninsured motorist. Granted my bike is technically classified as an SS (it's a 400), but still. I wanted to get a $500 deductible comprehensive on it as well, but it almost doubled the cost [].

this is just a suggestion but if you are trying to get a msf course try a military base if there is one near you, they give the msf course and i know that they let civilan people take it the course on the base, Plus i know that it is cheaper

In my area there are 5 classes going all within an hours drive of each other and they are usaly booked up 2 to 3 months ahead. I got lucky when I went ot sign up for mine they told me it would be a 2 month wait. When I went in to pay for the class I asked them if they had anything sooner. They told me they have a cancellation that weekend and I could take it. So I got in the same weekend.. MSF instructors don't get paid much. I have a few friends who do it. I've heard some crazy stories from them One involving a person needing an amblunce ride to the hospital. I guess some people were not ment for 2 wheels.
