I'd say a fairly high percentage of us here have already taken the MSF class. I had a really good riding coach that broke my bad habbits real fast. My wife learned how to ride through the MSF course (but since we got it for free on a military installation, the DMV didn't accept our MSF cards in lieu of the license test.) When you first see the test course, you're gonna look at it and say "There's no way in hell I can do that" but you'll walk away from it suprised as hell.

Thanks Pattrick. Luckily I have a helmet to use for the test. When I read that they can supply you with one from the course, I was like...uh no thanks lol.
And rocketrotary, thats what I am looking for. Someone who can help me learn what the rights and wrongs of riding are instead of me finding out the hard way. I learnedsomething on my own the hard way already, such as: turning(that did not turn out so well). But yeah, can't wait, only one more week. The only thing that makes me a little nervous is that it snowed today [:'(]. I hope itwill be alright when the time comes.

Or in the words of my good Friend Reg Pridmore, "Think Fast and Ride Safe"

Congrats on making one of the best steps to safer riding in your riding career! Now finish that junk up and get to a track![sm=devilgrin.gif]

300$.... 500$... Holy crap, mine is the 3-day weekend course and it is only 120$. That includes the bikes, and helmet if you don't have it.

Thats pretty cheap!

Here in Cali if your under 21 the state will subsidize the cost and you only pay 75 bucks.

over 21 is something like 275.00 smakeroos acrros the board.

PA tacks a little charge (like $2) on your renewal fee and funds the entire class.
