Default Malaysia?

Hey I noticed my new 2006 KLX 250S is made in Malaysia. What's up with that. When did this change, and what bikes are now being put together there? I thought most import bikes came from Japan.

Bet you thought your ford was made in the usa, or your carrier air conditioning was made in indiana!

NAFTA! Not A Fu%#ing Thing American.

But to answer your question Japan companies do the same thing.

No I know that stuff is out-sourced all over the place, I learned that when I was interested in a 1985 mazda, and the salesman said it was the same thing as the ford Courier. Also I am reminded everytime I call for customer assistance on my Dell machines at home. That's not what I was talking about, I just wanted to know when the switch was and how many Kawasaki bike models are being assembled outside Japan.
