My second bike was an RZ350. I loved it... My Mom hated it so much that she used to take stuff off it, and run it over with the lawn mower. I remember I got a new seat cover for it. I had it laying out in the sun, when I went inside for a drink, my mom went outside, and mowed it. Lol... Now it's funny, but then Iwas pissed.

+1 on the 2-strokers. Their weakness (in that era, pretty common) was the flexi frames, tires, and suspension. Just imagine what they would be like with today's technology. I think if there was some way (catalytic converter, etc.) to capture the excess oil burn-off, we would see two strokes make a comeback. A couple of years ago, there were quite a few articles on using 2-stroke technology in smaller cars, due to the power vs displacement (i.e. bang for the cc) advantage they have over 4-strokes. However, in this eco-sensitive environment, I haven't heard much moreabout it. Although, even if they were to make a comeback, I'm sure there would be so much EPA plumbing attached, they would be nothing like the bikes we remember or are lucky enough to occasionally ride (like that H-2 in another thread; wow, what a beautiful bike.)

I know the new cbr600 has set a new record as for as lightness goes for a bike. I belive most are under 400 when dry, butwith all the fluids I don't think any are under 400.

I'm new at this motorcycle stuff, but I am surprised at the amount of people who like my 01 KE100! They kind of made fun of me for riding it at first, but last weekend at Cedar Falls Raceway everyone had a blast riding around on it!
