i mailed it back to scorpio once already, they are located in arizona. it wasnt a constant thing but the alarm wouldnt disarm and i would be stuck. i was told they would replace the unit or controller, they mailed it back to me and said they fixed it, rather than replaced it. it worked fine for the past 3 months and now its starting again, it either wont arm or wont disarm sometimes. i have the full scorpio, all the options ignition kill, battery back up etc.. it makes me wanna kick my bike when it wont turn off. i have to send it back again now and i have talked to local dealers and they said its not uncommon with scorpio. its a shame because it is a really nice alarm. i guess im the only one on this forum with a faulty scorpio =/ i have lojack too. anyone else have lojack?

wow bro u got all the bells and whistles on that. i just got the base model.did u use the wire clamps that came withit?or did u get the plug n play harness?the plug n play harness connectors clip in nice and tight where as the clamp harness might not have such a tight connection. just a idea.

no i have the plug in connectors in mine. i ride my bike all the time, i dont own a car, and i think the problem can be attributed to heat. the unit is velcro mounted to the left of my tool kit, and being above that exhaust for an hour or so of running it seems to happen more often.. either that or my controller is just beat up. my antenna cap fell off too (just the plastic to reveal a spring antenna) but i just glued the cap back on. its been working fine today but i havent been on any longer rides. the dealer installed the lojack and the alarm before i even brought the bike home. i had one stolen once, my girl sleeps right outside my window, and my gun is under my bed. call me paranoid or crazy, but once one is stolen from you, and you love your bike, you sleep with one eye up. (atleast i do)

aaahhh ok i didn't realize you had a tail up exshuast. your probaly right on the heat thing.one more thing how is ur antenna wire routed mine i have coming out of the tail section with the blinker wire about two inches neatly tie straped to it.and the manuel says if that wire is cut or pinched realy hard it could give you problems.

yeah i have my antenna wire routed around the inside of the tail with the tail wiring, its unobstructed and fine, i have pulled the module out and reset it and reprogrammed it per scorpio but whatever, next time its happens im just going to send it back.. they have new controllers out too =] maybe they will send me one of those .. and evil is saw your 50 cal >=] i have: 2 romanian ak47s one scoped and converted, one original wood stock with the banana clips, i also have an israeli made desert eagle .44, and 2 nines one ruger which is my carry gun i keep in my backpack and bascially beat up... and my home defense gun is a taurus pt92f (basically a beretta) cept taurus has a lifetime warranty berreta is one year. its chrome and i keep federal hydroshocks in that one >=] my eagle is my favorite to shoot at the range though. i miss living out in az, i could shoot outside there. ranges kinda suck =/
