My 1997 kx 125 is runnin at a high idle, like almost full rpm, can be choked down to run at an idle. when runnin with a load tho ( like in gear) it runs normal. in all gears with no slippin or power loss. wonderin if it could be a vaccum leak or possibly dirt in the carb. help please

 

Sounds like you are onto the issue at hand or maybe the choke is having a fit. Time for cleaning and adjustment and alot of times, minor issues will reveal themselves.
