What is happening over the past few years, and really the last two years, is there are 5 times as many people riding, and more riders mean more accidents and deaths. Insurance companies are just trying to cover thier bets. [&:]

I have an Insurance company here that is awsome. All they write is Motorcycle insurance. The name of the company in Ball Insurance, they are located in Highlands Texas. There number is 281-328-7014. Ask for Heather. She is awsome. I pay for 3 bikes 1 Full coverage on my Harley, and Liability with theft on my 07 GXSR600 and 96 ZX7R 48/month. They beat everyones price. Something like 570 /year. Cant beat it. LEt me know if anyone gets a quote from her and if she beat your current rate. Hope this helps.

I am 31 years old, married and have a clean record and I pay $240 every six months on my 2007 650r. I do have full coverage through State Farm, but it may also be on the account that I have both cars and my house insurance through them.

I pay $180 a year for liability on the kawi, and $620 a year for full covereage on my Aprilia. When I was getting quotes they ranged from $620 to $3500 on the Aprilia, so just call around. Statefarm was the cheapest followed by geico.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I changed insurance companies and my new company doesn't cover motorcycles. I went from paying $400 a piece on each bike to quotes in 2500 land. F* that.

Iv'e got a Red ZX-14 and my insurance is 300 a year for liability. I would never have full coverage on a bike unless it was a valuable antique. If I wreck it, and I live throught it, I'll fix it myself. I think it is cheaper to fix a bike than keep the high insurance.
Of course it is payed off which makes that feel a little better.
