How much freeplay in your clutch?
Alright well I have been experiencing some weird things. WHen i fully rev out second and go to shift to third, it sometimes doesn't go into third. MEanwhile i release the clutch thinking it is gonna go into third, and the rear tires will just spin. So this is not the safest right now. I readjusted the clutch freeplay to where there is about 2mm of freeplay at the lever. Now the weird thing is that it was only doing this going into third gear. It does seem clutch related though. Will a worn out clutch act like this? Where it is hard to dissengage? It only does this above 10k rpms also.

it'd be best if you can remove your clutch cover and make sure the clutch pack isn't all stuck together from overheating and wear.
i just did a clutch job today on a 500 predator, and it was completely fried, even tho there was plenty of material on te friction rings!
the springs were weak, which led to slipping and overheating of the plates..
this can melt all the plates togeter sometimes in extreme wear cases, and will not let the hub and basket disengage from each other, even if the pressure plate keeping everything in th basket IS moving.. you'll want about 1/8" or so of momement typically.. you can get away with just1/16 tho..
good luck man!! keep us posted!
