Just got my muffler back from the powder coat place. This is the high temp powder coat good to 1200 degrees F. My question is, how hot does the pipe before the muffler get and could I possibly have it done too? I dont want the headers or anything done, just the single pipe that bolts to the muffler, maybe just about 24 inches or so that way it will match. Also, I know my bike is dirty, I havent had time to clean it since I rode the other day and got caught in the rain.

I didnt have any problems mounting them. You do however have to get them on 'just right' to cover the old holes. But they look good, are very bright, and I get alot of compliments about them. good luck.
