lower a ninja 250, and if she still cant reach the floor, shave the seats.. .. and/or wear platform shoes.

she could always go the non-sport type moto.. those have real low seats.

If a 250 Ninja is still too short, about the only other bike I know that would be shorter is the Honda 250 rebel. That bike is extremely short.

The Kawasaki Eliminator 125 is shorter. Plus, that way she can stick with a Kawi. But for somebody 5' tall, a Ninja 250 should be okay.

+ 1 galen a ninja 250 should be fine. Have her sit on a few and see it she can balance the bikes. My gf 5'8 so she fits good on my 6...oh but she ain't gonna ride it !

My girlfriend rides my 6 and 650. No issue. She is about 5'7"-5'8". My friend's girl is 5'2" and she rides a 250 just fine.

I'm 5'1" and I have a 91 EX500 and an 07 650R. I had both lowered and it was fine. I was very tippy toed until the lowering, but I think the 250 is fineif that is what she is looking for. She may not be fully flat on the bike, but if she can get down on the ***** of her feet and can balance the bike she should be ok. Take the MSF class, it will help her with her confidence too.

Hey I got a Ninja 250 - I'm 4'10" I lowered it and am not completely flat foot but comfortable enough that I don't have to worry. It is an awesome bike especially to start out on.
