I'm with everyone else, a little wet sanding and it should be okay.

 

Maybe the clearcoat you used had a reaction to the packing peanuts, you know, like putting gas in a styrofoam cup?!

 

Chemical reaction, but I would not rule out the camale tracks either, did not say what kind of chemicals.

 

So how does it look now that you worked on it dallin?
