Just thought I'd share.

The dealer wanted $760.00 for a 48 month extended warranty on a 2007 Nomad. That would give a total of 6 years, unlimited miles.

Bought it from a dealer online for $355.00. No deductible.

I am fairly certain that in 6 years I may have at least that much in covered repairs.

Since I don't know if it is proper to name the dealership, I will provide contact information for anyone who wishes to know.

Just want to share my experience.

When I got my bike used I got a 3 year unlimited milage warranty on it. The warranty only covers non wear and tear things.

 

I got a 5 year warranty from the dealer when I purchased , it was part of the deal .I told him I'd buy it for the price he quoted if he thru in a warranty .

 

Right. It's the unpredictable expensive repairs you would want the warranty to cover. Hey, like all insurance, it's a gamble. Just rather have it than not, especially at this price. IMHO[sm=goodidea.gif]

I bought my bike May 06 its a 05 636 .When I first contacted them about it it was still in the crate in the back of the shop .I explained to themthat I was 80 miles awayand I didn't have the desire or patience to beat around the bush and wanted his best price before I made the trip . I paid 7900 out the door for the bike and extended warranty . Good ??????????
