Default Front Brakes

Just a question? when applying my front brakes hard or some times soft i'm getting a scraping sound and a rough feeling comming to a stop, i asked the stealership to take a look at them during the first check-up and they said that there was nothing wrong with them, The bike only has 6000 miles on it.

This sound a feeling does not happen all the time i brake so i was just wondering if someone else is having this also, the stealership says you might get this because of the shap of the new rotors that the 2006 ZX636 has on them

Do i have to change the pads or do something else to rid this problem or is this normal.

Thanks for reading

Might have something on the pad or a piece of the padmaterial is doingit.

Did the stealership remove the front calipers and inspect them or make there assessment from 20 feet away?

You know i don't know what they looked at or if they took the time to tear them down, i think they just gave me a line of bs. I'll take a look at them to see if there is some debree on the pads or take it to a real bike shop

thanks for the info though

I think it all depends on the pads that are on the bike. My 250R has fairly loud brakes. The 750 on the other hand is very quiet. Unless you see groves forming on the rotors from something obviously digging into them, I wouldn't worry about it. (Or just buy some different pads and hope they will be quieter.)
