Never had a wreck with a car... came close a couple times - worst was this:

I'm in town driving on a 30mph city street - one lane each way. I have no stops. Several cross streets, all have stops. Minivan pulls up from a cross street and looks up the street, then back towards me... up the street again, then back towards me... up the street a THIRD TIME... back towards me (all the while I am closing distance), and right as I am on top of him - he pulls out to go across my main road. I hammer the brakes so hard I endo the bike (an un-common thing back in the day of a 93 ZX7). It gets WAY the hell up there too... I am so close to him that I am looking DOWN into the side-window of the van, at the floor behind the driver's seat.

*** end comes CRASHING down hard and actually ruptures the seal on the gas canister for the shock, dropping the bike low. I tear *** after the guy and get in front of him and block his path. A passing driver had a car phone and I had them call the police. The guy asks what the big deal is and I tell him he will find out when the officer writes up the accident report.

He looked RIGHT AT ME THREE FREAKIN TIMES - during the day, and I was running with my high beams on. Moron!

I hate cage drivers they just don't git it......

I know when I'm in my cage I drive it w/ care..

And if I'm in my cage I see a biker around I will
run interferance for him what ever the type
of bike it is..... Just tryin to look out for a fellow
rider....

I do the same thing when I'm stuck in my car. I have always looked out for bikers ever since I started driving (comes from being taught how to drive a car by a biker!).

You guy's n gal's are right people just dont realize that a bike can't stop like a car, ie: skiding to a hault. Not only that most if not all driver's (excluding us) are naive, they expect everone is looking out so they can drive as they want...to bad that is not true, and other's get hurt or even die because they are to lazy operate a vehicle correctly. For instance a lady is driving towards me in a parking lot good thing I'm paying attention, because at the last minute she cuts in front of me like if we were battling for the spot. I had to grab at the brakes hard to avoid hitting her, then she just sits there looking at me like its my fault... Makes me infuriated.

I love it when they look at you like they did nothing wrong - makes you want to jump off your bike and put the boots to their car, and then look at them like you did nothing wrong!

Thats why we ride and they don't...... Most bikes are always aware of there
surrounding.... At all time..... Not these pin-headed cage drivers.....

But I'll tell ya what ....Talkin about it helps..... It keeps us all on our toes
and lets us vent in here and not on the road......
