Coming home from daughters cheer practice my wife and I came upon an accident, as we slowed and were diverted off the main street I looked over and saw it was a bike and a suburban[:'(] Thisis only 1 block from the turn in to my neighborhood, they already had paramedics there and the rider was on a stretcher with lots of activity going on around him. Well we made it home after a small detoure and soon after we heard a helicoptor, it was life flight[&o] all I could think was it's not good when the wagon is there and they chose to call in the copter for you. Police set up cones on the street and they pick up the rider, I do not know the condition if the rider or could I tell what happened by th position of the truck and bike. Just hope he made it and will recover.

Sorry for another accident post but just a reminder to be carfull out on the road to everyone, freaking car verses bike does not have a good outcome. I am considering selling my street bike and just keeping the track bike, I know it would make my wife happy.

I was almost taken out by a little blonde lady in a suburban once. Damn cagers[:@] PAY ATTENTION!

 

Man I have been taken out twice by dumb a$$ cadgers on the freeway, that's why I am considering getting off the street permanently. The track is more fun for me and I do not use my bike for a daily ride anymore.

i know wat ya mean, my dorn is right next Children's Hospital and UPMC Presby and i hear them all the time. Hope the rider makes it through all right though

YOu can't make me not ride on the street. Bike wrecks happen, car wrecks happen, heart attacks happen. I am not going to stop eating hamburgers, not going to stop riding my bike, or car. Sometimes **** happens, sometimes there is nothing we can do about it. Enjoy it while you got it, and do not fear death. It's going to happen.
