so im driving to work the other day and all of a sudden my bike gets really loud so im like what the **** i turn back my slip on is just hanging there not connected so at work i tighten it back up and think no big deal on the way home same thing so i decide to take it off to see what is wrong well the gasket on the inside is shreded so i decide to go get one today after work i will just leave the pipe off well that turned out to be a bad idea now the plastic that the pipe was blowing on has completely melted and one of the screw holes that holds the tail light on has melted off but i got the gasket and all is well untill i go to buy the plastic that got ****ed up plus possibly a complete new tail section[:@][:@][:@][:@] srry so long just need to vent plus let you know if you don't already don't take off the exhaust a ride the bike on the 05 636 just askin for trouble

 

Sorry bro, some times you just got to say WTF. I admit I have not seen a pipe come off let alone 2 times in one day.

Sh%t lucky it didn't come off completely and get caught up in the rear[:'(]

 

yeah that is true i know it was my fault i think when i put the new pipe on it meesed the gasket up i have the new yosi pipe on it and when i heard it get loud my heart stopped pumping but it is all good now

 

man that sux.i saw only one other pipe come off and it came off my buddies yamaha while we were riding it came flying right at me i dodged it and my buddie behind me stopped to pick it up but forgot it was hot and burned his hand. not funny at the time but now we all laugh about it.i guess there always a lesson to be learned when it comes to pipes falling off.

 

defnitely gives a whole new meaning of Pipe dream that is for sure. sorry to hear that the tail is jacked up but glad you got it fixed.
