yeah we were thinkin about takin the cat out but it appears that the headers run right into it there for making it very difficult to do. if you mess with the headers there is alot more stuff you have to do. which is why we were thinkin cat back. to me it seems like the exhasut is very heavy which is what got our conversation started in the first place. any reccommedations on which mufflers i should use.

if you don't have to worry about emissions then you can hollow out the cat and it basicly becomes a smaller resonance chamber before going to the muffler. if the header converges to a single pipe diameter just before the cat then you can hollow it out and run a pipe straght through the center for maximum flow.
post up some pics and i might get some ideas. never done a bike exhaust before but i've done exhausts for custom turbo setups in cars

you just want pics of thebike. we might do that hollow out the cat. we will see the project is still a ways away. we have to finish buildin our trucks first
