Damn you NOBRAKES!!! Look what you made me do!
Because of your military KLR video NOBRAKES, I haven't been able to get my mind off the thought of owning a dualsport. I've been checking out the KLR650 online, looking at reviews, videos etc. I did find some pics of the 2008 KLR650! At least that will give me about two more years to start saving up some money! hahaha.
Might still pickup a used older one if I can find one in my area, but who knows what will happen.
here are some SWEET pics of the '08, Very nice![sm=smiley32.gif]

haha... join the darkside.... you know you wanna play in the dirt with us.... lol....
the 650 is alot bigger of a bike than the 250, if you wanna get another bike to just use off road pretty much i would go with the 250, its alot more trail friendly, the 650 is more of a street bike than the 250... just lettin ya know.

I know if I do get a dualsport, it would probably be used as an on-road bike most of the time anyway. It's more of the thought that I could take it off pavement and hit some trails if I wanted to.
Of course maybe if I get a taste for off roading, I'll have to get a more "friendly" bike for that purpose too!

wow, looks nice.
My prob is I do not like dual sports because I think going banzai in the dirt is how it goes. Which means I crash eventually. A dirt ride is just that, same with a street ride for the streets.

haha i hate to say it, but if i were you i would get a honda crf450X model with the 150 dollar baja kit for dual purpose, it would be able to slam the trails hard, and still keep up on the road with traffic, dont hate me for saying that everyone, i still bleed green, but sometimes red isnt that bad...
