Default clutch issue

hello there. I was trying to post this to the general tech forum but for some reason it wont let me post a new thread. I have an 09 kxf250. after i start the bike i drop it into gear while holding the clutch and the bike dies like the clutch isnt disengaged. So i dropped the bike in gear with some throttle and took off, but i can only go at a low speed when i try to give it more gas the engine revs but i do not go any faster like the clutch disengages. i rode it last night and when i parked it i grabbed the clutch and it worked just fine. i woke up this morning and changed my oil but not my filter. i went to go for a ride and noticed the problem. so i went back and changed the filter but it didn't make any difference...?

ya i did. I tightened it all the way to begin with and when that didnt work i loosened it, but nothing. I tore apart my clutch and the teeth on my plates are about as thick as my big toe nail. Does anybody know if that is worn down to much and i need new ones?
