That was pretty funny nomad. A freind of mine bought a newGSXR 750 this summer, at around 300 miles he had a small chunk missing from is battlleaxes, the dealer basically told him "chit happens". My brothers gsxr 600 came with them, he changed after 600 miles. My other brothers gsxr 600 came with them, he has about 500 miles on it and has been complaining about the handling "feeling funny". They are just chit tires IMHO. Glad my Kawi came with better rubber on it.

Tombstones are the biggest POS tire around. I don't like them. My ZRX's came with 020's as stock. They were hard as rocks. When I bought my '05 last year, first thing I did was put a set of M3's on it.

I would take lots of pics and get to Bridgestone. I'm sure they would like to know what kind of crap they are selling.

the bridgestones batlax's have really good ratigns for commuter and cold weather use. just sounds like they aren't designed right for performance use.

My batlax has several thousand miles on it with no problems. but then again i don't really exceed the speed limit much and when i do its not for a long distance.

i would need new drawers after climbing off that bike. This is a perfect example of why tombstones suck. I hate them and all but one dealer in the area dont reccomend them on sportbikes. Switch to corsas, you will live longer........

Well that's just dandy. I seem to have bad luck when it comes to tires. I recently put Metzellers on my Harley only to discover soon after they've had similar issues.[:@]And now I learn my brand new 14, with Bridgestones has the same G.D. problem. No recalls posted so I'm S.O.L. I just make sure I check them constantly.
