hi guys
im ridin a 2006 zx6rr and i was tryin out clutch wheelies. well doin so i think i blew my clutch out. later that night i was ridin on the highway and at about 8000 rpms id hit the throttle and nothin happend it just went straight to the redline didnt go just revs. so i took the bike home keeping it under 6000. what happend? also how much do you think its goin to cost to get and new clutch kit installed and laber. dealership est 450?

If you do clutch wheelies you'll burn out the clutch sooner rather than later.
It's an easy job to do - look at fitting stronger springs and see what alternative plates are available rather than refitting a stock clutch.

hey drag, ive never done a slipper clutch yet. how much different is it from a regular clutch as far as installation?

I recommend you soak your clutch plates in the oil you're going to use, for about 20 min or so, before you install/stack them in the bike. (Just to make sure they're saturated.)
As always, take your time on the clutch housing seal; clean, dry, let the gasket get set before you dump in the oil.

Actually, not sure since I am not a mechanic. . There are torque limiter springs added to the clutch package. My 90 zx7 is basically the same as the 10r. If you have a race manual for your ride, good reading. But basically it is the free play measurement of the plates in combination with the torque limiter springs.
You always presoak as mentioned.
