I dont like either of the two....I would say if you have a bike you are a rider...Thats what I prefur

Motorcyclist these days. I'm 60.

The difference is in what motorcycle you ride, how you ride it, and what you wear.

I ride..plain and simple.....about 8,000-10,000..miles last year.....guess that qualifies me as both lol....

I like to think a biker is one who can still keep a perfect straight line after a heavy binge session. I'm the classic cruiser dude that way but I'm anti H-D for personal reasons. If you can still handle the cornering at high speeds you are a LEGEND but heh... don't try it.

Personally, I think a "biker" is one who spends a large portion of their time/life with their bikes.
Regardless of what you ride.
Amotorcyclist goes out on the occasional sunny sunday for a cruise, goes home, and puts the cover back on their bike.
