Yeah Mark I was surprised using State Farm how cheap they were. About 400 a year full coverage for my 636, heck I even threw in a life insurance policy too! Only good thing about getting older you can buy more toys!

I decided to try out state farm today and check their rates out. On a multi-line discount, anda good driver discount, State Farm told me it would cost$163 per year on a ZX-14![8D] And, $308 per year for full coverage. I almost crapped my pants when the agent told me that. In fact, I thought she must have screwed something up to be getting those numbers. American Family wanted over $3400 a year! The stateFarm agentwentso far as to call the underwriter for an exact price, and sure enough, they gave her the same figures. It's funny that for liability only I would be paying the same for my 250R Ninja. I don't plan on making a purchase yet, but next spring I'm definitely gonna start shopping around. Who knows what the 2008 ZX-14 will be like. Probably the same thing with new colors I'm sure. We'll see.

I guess turning a quarter century old does have it's benefits after all.
I can hear it now, the agent say's sorry, I think you misunderstood...that wasthemonthly rate! [sm=laughat.gif]

Just kidding, glad you got such a good rate!

I wasn't paying anything before because it was my 1st real street bike in 10 years. All I know that I thought it would be about so much more, so it was a nice surprise. I can't remember what I paid for my VFR 750 when I was 24.
