Any ideas?
I know some of you must know,
I'm really new to this scene, heck I haven't even purchased this bike yet, but I plan on it, it needs some work (Obviously), but I figure, if I can work on cars, I'm going to give working on a bike a shot. I've stumbled across this thing, and I can't figure out what type it is. Can someone point me in the right direction? Model, and Year?
Thanks in advance!

Letum, welcome to the forums. If you're new to the scene, even if you're a decent wrench, you MIGHT want to start with a "more complete" bike. I say this, because you're looking at a good 6 months of work there. I speak from experience. A "project" bike CAN be a good thing if you have some ride time and bike wrenching under your belt and you know what's ahead of you. This particular bike would probably kill the mood after a few weeks, frustrate you, and end up costing you more than a good used ride. Find a good used ride first. My two cents.
Welcome again.

The sticker is going to be on the frame head stock.
You will have a lot of work ahead of you and $'s to complete this ride. The parts is one thing, the wiring harness has been cut into from that pic. Give us some numbers off of the head stock and also from the engine.

Alright, thanks guys, this is basically going to be a learning project, I'm not looking to start riding it quite yet. Its an offer I really can't pass up though. All of the parts are there, just not attached to the bike, some are out in his shop. The wiring harness has had a few things done to it, but as the owner of a 3000GT VR4 that had its harness hacked to bits and pieces and correctly put back together my myself, I think at least that part is a job that I can tackle. But I understand your concerns. And I appreciate them! But I am looking to try to find out the make and model, as soon as I get back over there to look at it again, the man who owns it is an older gentleman that just can't get around to working on them anymore. So hes letting it go for a VERY reasonable price. That I would be pretty stupid to pass up. Lol
