Default And again another accident...

I'm cursed!

Cursed I tell you!!

Yet another accident today. Was on my way to work going down the 57 S a little before 8AM this morning white lining between the HOV and the Number 1 lane. I was doing about 30-35 MPH and the cars around me about 20-25 MPH next thing I know a car cuts across the double yellow right as I get to his front right fender and clips me before I have any time to react. Pretty hard to he really wanted over just threw his car into me. Some how (dumb luck no doubt) the bike stayed up which is amazing considering how hard he hit me. Which is good news considering I was surrounded by tons of metal all around me since I was white lining. I pull over and then look around for him and sure enough he's no where to be found. Sadly my bike was in no condition to pursue either. Broken engine cover leaking out oil at far to rapid a rate. Footpeg and shift assembly broken off and hanging down. Frame slider bent all the way back into my fairing and of course scrapes all over the bike. Damn hit and runs... I don't really care if you do something stupid we all do but don't make it worse by taking off that's just abit upsetting =\

All and all though not that bad considering. My knee and foot are rather sore and the foot is a few different colors somethings probably sprained maybe a small fracture on my middle toe but really isn't that bad. Got some wierd lump on the ball of my foot though that hurts a bit more I think that's just some wierd bruising though.

That suxs bro I hate those freaking cagers that run after they hit us. I had a hit and run over on Euclid off the 71.
I used to ride on the 57 a lot and a couple of close calls there as well.

Hope you heal quickly bro and take it easy.

Remember, you are right, karma will hopefully catch up to that jerk soon.

Sorry man that does suck. Hope you get everything back to normal. Stinking hit and runs. What makes someone leave the scene of an accident? I mean unless they were drug dealers and didn't want the cops showing up. Or perhaps they didn't have insurance. Who knows, but it still stinks.[:@]

Maybe too late now, but you may want to file an accident report just to have it in case you need it.
Hope you get better soon (and your bike does too.)

That is tough. And of course no one would pull over after witnessing it happen either.
Heal up quick

Filed a report (wasn't going anywhere fast lol so least I could do plus I want the SOB caught granted that won't happen but hey always hope)

and believe it or not I had the nicest person pull over as soon as it happened and was on the phone with 911 as they were getting out of their car to check on me, and they even stuck around to be a witness on the police report. Sadly they didn't get the plate either but they were at least there to be a witness and check to make sure I was ok. Hell they even gave me some extra strength aspirin and some water to take it with. Couldn't have been more surprised and grateful to them for that. If anyone sees a Black Mustang 1 or 2 generations old (probably 2000 ish) with a jacked up bumper and messed up right fender let me know, I'd like to have a few 'words' with them lmao...

On a side note anyone have experience with this type of thing from an insurance stand point. I filed a claim but waiting for the claims agent to get back in touch with me. Was wondering if my Uninsured/Underinsured motorist coverage will cover the damage to the bike, and further more if that will increase my rates. Would hate for this to be out of my own pocket to repair the damage and some other nucklehead did to my bike. Talk about adding insult to injury that would be quite upsetting. Sadly I doubt it will so trying to figure out how to pay for it now but it would be a nice surprise to hear they cover it.

Vortex rearset
Leftside top and lower fairing
Engine cover
Frame slider
I pray that is all but I haven't taken the bike apart yet to check it out (waiting on the insurance company to see if they need to come take a look before I touch anything on it.)
