I have a 2002 ZX6R with stock exhaust. Its big and ugly. I would like an aftermarket one but some of them are too loud. And its hard to tell from sound clips. My buddy has a three brothers canister and it sounds awesome but gets annoying the longer we ride. I have herd that Jardine isn't loud but maybe his hearing is bad, you know. Just wondering if there is one that is louder then stock but easy on the ears. I am not going for perfomance just sound and looks.

 

on the ninja 650 im looking at it has a jardine which is very deep and loud at the same time. its also a parallel twin, compared to the I4 which is more whiny.

Know thy "can" material as well. Aluminum is light and tinny. Titanium is not as tinny, Stainless is heavier and of course does not resonate as much either. Carbon Fiber produces a deeper tone but needs airflow to keep the resin from melting. Packing and configuration of course is a factor.

 

I ment that i wanted an aftermarket exhaust that sounds better then stock but not as loud as all the others. Like Jardine i heard is not so loud and leo vince. I have herd two brothers and its loud. Sorry to confuse.
