hi all, there's a guy at my job who has a 94 zx9,
1, Both front and back brakes aren't working.
2, it needs a Battery,
3, has minor rust on exhaust.
4, needs a good tune up and prop the carbs synked
5, the paintjob is a custom but crappy job

based on above info what would you say this bike is worth

when i look at this bike i see lots of potention and would kind of like to get it, but i don't want to over pay since i know its a fix up.

good point its in the Bronx, NY.has been for about 2 years beforethat it was in Queens NY for i don't know how long, also i don't remember the milage, but its not over 40,000

If it's been down, (check the steering head stops) I would really knock some off the price. As you describe it (assuming 35K miles) I'd give no more than 2K. Somebody has abused/neglected this bike. If it was running and functional, I might feel differently. Be careful.
