You should be able to get one now. You need to check with your dealer. I know the possibly 1st person to get an 09 Ninja 650 was about 4-6 weeks ago in San Diego, which was on YouTube. After speaking to my local dealer, they come into port in LA, then go out to distribution centers. My local one is in Dallas. After I kept calling my dealer, I called on the last Friday of February. He called the DC and they had them, but it sounded like they weren't supposed to start shipping just yet. Since he had me ready to buy, they released 1 bike to his store for me. I picked it up last Friday. So check with your dealer.

 

jikhead can you post some pictures of your ER-6n i would love to see them. I went to the local kawa dealer last friday and they still did not have one. I live in arkansas not to far from you so you would hope that they will be here soon, but he stated any day now. I'm about to call the dealer as soon as i post this to find out if he can call the DC. Thanks for the advice.

 

I didn't pick up the er6n. I bought the new 650. I commented about since the two bikes are identical except for the fairings and headlight. I'll try to send you some pics later. Which dealer are you going to? I got mine from Kawasaki Sports Center down on University in Little Rock. Wherever you go, I'd suggest you ask the owner to get on the phone with their distribution center.
