Default 03 Zx6r B1 No start F! flashing

Hello i am new to this forum my name is archie and i just recently picked up a sweet 03 zx6r its my 1st real bike the bike is phenomenal all stock nothing done besides frame sliders and the other day i went for a ride and stopped for some water. when i went to my bike to start it i noticed the fuel pump did not prime when i turned the key. the engine start switch was on. the bike turns over beautifully but will not fire up. i have noticed the F1 light flashes when cranking. I dream about riding all day at work and now when i get off there is nothing to look forward to... please if anyone has any insight i would greatly appreciate it. i know i should probably take it to the dealership and have them hook it up but i work for Apple and have a full schedule. thanks again

sounds like it could be a battery or connectivity issue. see if the bike starts off a jump from another battery or jumper box.

welcome to KF

A fully charged battery is key. You can test the fuel pump and relay after making sure that the battery is up to full charge. And you may do an FI diagnostics check, and of course with a fully charged battery. Good luck and welcome to KF. Congrats on the new Ride!!!!

Not sure on the light, possibly a sensor issue. There is a procedure in your manual to check the codes, no need to take it to the dealer to diagnose.
